Performance
The 2020 Edge comes standard with a turbocharged 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine that delivers up to 250 horsepower for the roads of El Paso, TX. The vehicle has an EPA rating of 21 mpg/29 mpg and comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Beginning at the ST level, the Edge comes with a 2.7-liter, six-cylinder engine that gets up to 335 horsepower. The vehicles also feature all-wheel drive. The larger engine gives the SUV an EPA rating of 19 mpg/26 mpg. Add a Class II trailer towing package and take along up to 3,500 pounds.
Design
The exterior of the midsize SUV has an aerodynamic profile that slopes down the rear. Sharp lines contour the wheel wells and contour the lower body fascia on the front, the sides and rear of the Edge. The front features a meshed grille flanked by two angular headlights. The 2020 Edge has an eight-inch ground clearance. The vehicles are available in a new palette of colors that include:

The interior cabin is quality crafted with fine materials that exude modern style. The refinements include a revamped instrument panel, center stack and door trim. Trim Levels
- SE: The standard features on the base SE trim level include automatic dual-zone climate control, second-row and cargo area LED lights, eight bottle/cup holders, powered windows and door locks, 2 USB ports, an infotainment system with an eight-inch touchscreen. The instrument panel includes a compass and engine oil life monitor. The cargo area comes with a handy cargo management net.
- SEL: The upgraded SEL level adds LED daytime running lights, a premium stereo system with nine speakers and heated front seats.
- Titanium: The more elite models feature a B&O stereo system with 12 speakers, a hands-free powered liftgate, leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, front parking sensors and 19-inch alloy machined wheels.
- ST: The most luxurious of models add special bolstered bucket seats with embossed with the ST sport logo. The sportier edition includes a high-performance brake package that includes vented brake shields and ventilated front and rear brakes with red calipers. The radiator is upgraded and includes a brush-free cooling fan. The vehicle is also equipped with all-wheel drive and 20-inch machined alloy wheels. Options include ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, a rear-seat entertainment system, a panoramic sunroof, a 180-degree view front camera and a wireless charging pad.
