Comparing the F-Series Trucks Towing Capacity

Ford’s F-Series family of trucks is one of the most respected lineups in the auto business. If you’re looking for a capable, bold, and practical ride that’s stylish, too, Ford trucks should be on your list. And, you can choose from a few different models in the lineup to make sure you get the right truck for you.

Which Ford truck suits your lifestyle best?

Ford F-150
The smallest F-Series truck is also the brand’s best-selling model, and for good reason. The Ford F-150 combines top-of-the-line power with everyday maneuverability, making it a tough but practical ride for truck enthusiasts. When equipped with the factory towing package, the F-150 can handle a staggering 12,200 pounds.

Ford F-250 Super Duty
The F-250 provides truck drivers a nice happy medium between the best-selling F-150 and the heavy-duty F-350. It can match towing capacity with the F-350, too, thanks to its available 6.7-liter diesel V8 engine that can handle towing up to 18,000 pounds.

Ford F-350 Super Duty
For 2017, the F-350 is brand-new and totally redesigned. As a result, it’s benefited from a few improvements that have boosted its power output. With a 6.7-liter diesel V8 engine option, the Ford F-350 can crank out a whopping 950 lb-ft of torque and 18,000 pounds of towing capacity.

If you’d still like to see the F-Series trucks in person, come down to Mangold Ford. We have a large selection of pickups on our lot, and we’d be happy to help you find the right truck for you and your lifestyle.
